The French Dispatch

Absolutely adored this film, one of Wes Anderson’s very best. Typical Anderson sets, framing, eccentric characters and deadpan narration, with keen observation, sandpaper dry wit, pointed sarcasm, glorious humour and the fun kind of poking fun.

A sort of ode to reportage and a love story to post war France and it’s passions, Art, Food & Revolution; all in the guise of the New Yorker!
